Every question FOREXIVE publishes an answer to, grouped by model, stage and policy area. Search it, or start from a section below.
Five stages, in the order you meet them: pick a model, learn what it asks for, see what it pays, then bring other traders with you.
Everything a new trader needs to know, from sign-up to the first trade. Read it through, or jump to the part you need.
What prop trading is, how to start, and who we are.
A proprietary (prop) trading firm gives skilled traders access to trading capital. Instead of risking your own savings, you trade an account provided by the firm, and the profits you make are shared between you and the firm.
At FOREXIVE, you earn your account by passing a challenge: a short evaluation that shows you can reach a profit target while staying inside our risk rules. Once you are funded, you keep the majority of the profits you generate.
Getting started takes a few minutes. Here is the whole journey, from sign-up to your first trade:
The most you can lose is your challenge fee. Any losses on your FOREXIVE account are absorbed by us, so you will never owe us money because of a losing trade.
Every account comes with risk limits, such as a daily drawdown and a maximum drawdown. Going past one of these limits is a rule violation and can lead to trading being suspended or the account being closed.
You are free to start a new challenge whenever you are ready.
We built FOREXIVE around what traders actually need:
FOREXIVE is operated by FOREXIVE LTD, a UK-registered company (company number 15746920).
Registered address
3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street London EC2A 4NE United Kingdom
We welcome traders from around the world, except in restricted countries.
Check you are eligible before buying a challenge.
You must be 18 or older to use FOREXIVE. When you register, you confirm that you are at least 18.
After you pass your challenge, you will verify your identity (KYC) with a valid government-issued ID, such as a passport, national ID card or driving licence.
If you are under 18, you cannot open an account or buy a challenge.
We currently cannot offer our services to people who live in, or are citizens of, the following country:
Restricted
United States
We also cannot provide our services to anyone who:
You must only use FOREXIVE from a country where our services are available. If you are not sure whether you are eligible, email support@forexive.com before buying a challenge.
Our models, account sizes and account limits.
We offer four challenge models:
One evaluation, one payment, then your funded account.
Two phases, lower targets, the same loss limits throughout.
Skip the evaluation and start on a funded account.
Start with $10. Activate after you pass.
Each model has its own profit targets, drawdown limits, leverage and reward terms. You will find the full rules for each one under Choose Model.
Account sizes depend on the model you choose:
| Account size | 1-Step | 2-Step | Instant | Access 1-Step |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1K | Not available | Not available | Available | Not available |
| $2.5K | Not available | Not available | Available | Not available |
| $5K | Available | Available | Available | Available |
| $10K | Available | Available | Available | Available |
| $25K | Available | Available | Not available | Available |
| $50K | Available | Available | Not available | Available |
| $100K | Available | Available | Not available | Available |
| $200K | Available | Available | Not available | Available |
The rules are set as percentages of the account, so a larger account is no easier to pass than a smaller one. Choose a size you are comfortable trading.
There is no limit on the number of accounts you can hold, but your total capital allocation across all accounts cannot exceed $400,000.
Example
4 × $50,000 accounts + 2 × $100,000 accounts = $400,000 in total.
All your accounts are managed from one dashboard; each trader can have only one. If you would like to combine accounts, funded accounts can be merged into a single account by contacting support. Challenge accounts cannot be merged.
What you pay, what you get back, and how to pay.
The challenge fee covers the services we provide to you as a FOREXIVE trader, including the Platform 5 trading platform and the trading infrastructure behind it.
It is also the most you can ever lose. Any losses on your FOREXIVE account are absorbed by us.
On eligible models, the fee is refunded with your reward. See Is the challenge fee refundable?
No. There are no hidden or recurring fees. Your challenge fee is a one-time payment, and on 2-Step it covers both evaluation phases.
At checkout you can choose optional add-ons for 1-Step and 2-Step challenges. Each one is a one-time charge, priced as a share of the challenge fee, and you only pay for the ones you choose:
| Add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| 100% RewardKeep 100% of every eligible reward for the lifetime of your funded account. | +25% of the fee |
| On-Demand RewardRequest your first eligible reward on demand, without waiting for the scheduled reward cycle. | +10% of the fee |
| Double UpQualify for your funded account and receive a second evaluation account of the same size. | +35% of the fee |
| Free ResetGet one reset after an eligible breach on your original account and start the evaluation again. Eligible funded-stage breaches are covered too. | +40% of the fee |
It depends on the model:
| Model | Refund |
|---|---|
| 1-Step and 2-Step | Refunded with your first reward once you have passed all phases, plus an extra 20% of the fee — 120% in total. |
| Access | Refunded with your third reward, as long as all reward requirements are met and no rules have been broken. |
| Instant | Not refundable. The fee is a program fee that gives you access to the account. |
You can pay for your challenge with any of the following:
This covers paying for challenges. For how you receive your rewards, see Get Paid.
Where you trade, what it costs, and what you can trade.
All FOREXIVE accounts trade on Platform 5. Your login details appear in your dashboard and are sent to your email as soon as your account is ready.
Keep your investor password as it is
Changing your investor password is not allowed and counts as a rule violation. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Leverage depends on the model you trade:
| Model | Leverage |
|---|---|
| 1-Step | 1:50 |
| 2-Step | 1:100 |
| Instant | 1:50 |
| Access 1-Step | 1:50 |
Each model's own section under Choose Model carries its full trading conditions.
We aim to offer some of the most competitive trading conditions available. Spreads start from 0.0 pips, and commission is $3 per round lot on every instrument: forex, metals, energies, indices, crypto and synthetic indices.
To see the details for any symbol, right-click it in the platform's Market Watch window and choose Specification.
You can trade 59 instruments across 9 categories. Use the symbol name exactly as shown, including the suffix (for example .e).
The limits apply from your first trade, not from the funded stage. Open the rule you want to check: these are the practices that end an account, and the account rules that sit beside them.
11 questions
FOREXIVE operates a zero-tolerance policy against any form of abuse, manipulation or unethical behaviour on the platform. Any activity that attempts to exploit systems, manipulate pricing or gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
We actively monitor all accounts using advanced risk and behaviour analysis systems. Any violation of these rules may result in immediate action, including profit removal, account suspension or permanent account termination. On a funded account, once any rule is broken you cannot withdraw or request a reward on your profits.
Allowed
Hedging on the same account is allowed: you can open opposing positions on one account, for example to hedge risk or offset a loss. Instant Funding allows one open trade at a time, so it cannot be done there. Copy trading between accounts you own yourself is also allowed.
No. There are no restrictions on lot sizes, minimum or maximum, allowing traders the freedom to trade any style provided trades stay within the risk management principles.
Using a stop loss or take profit is not necessary, but it is suggested for better risk management. Bear in mind that the above does not extend to gambling.
Yes, using a third-party Expert Advisor is allowed, but only if it serves as a trade or risk manager. The EA must focus solely on managing account risk, such as adjusting stop losses, take profits or position sizes.
To activate an EA, email support@forexive.com.
Any other type is not allowed
Any other type of Expert Advisor, especially one that autonomously executes trades, is not allowed. Violating this rule will result in the denial of your evaluation or reward and the closure of your account.
Yes, but only between accounts you own yourself. Copying trades to or from another trader is prohibited.
If it happens, all accounts involved are closed and no money is returned. Using “pass your challenge” services or any third party to trade for you, having your account managed by another person or company, and sharing your account with anyone are also not allowed.
On 1-Step, 2-Step and 1-Step Access, news trading is allowed. In the evaluation phases there are no restrictions. On a funded account, any profit made on a trade closed between 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after a high-impact news event (broker time) is deducted and does not count towards your rewards.
The deduction applies even if the trade was opened before the news window, and whether the trade is closed manually or by a stop loss or take profit.
Example
High-impact news is released at 14:30, so the window runs from 14:25 to 14:35. You opened a trade at 10:00 and it closes at 14:32 with $400 profit. The $400 is deducted and is not included in your reward.
Trading during the news is not a rule violation and does not fail your account. Losses made in the window count against your balance and drawdown limits as normal. High-impact news means red-folder events on the ForexFactory economic calendar.
Instant Funding
News trading is restricted on Instant Funding. You may not open or close trades — market orders, stop loss and take profit executions, or pending orders — 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after high-impact news. Doing so is a rule violation.
Yes. On 1-Step, 2-Step and 1-Step Access, the floating risk limit is 3%: open positions must never show an unrealised loss of 3% or more of the account balance or equity. Reaching it is a rule violation, even if the trades later recover. On Instant Funding, no trade may lose more than 1% of the initial balance.
You cannot open or close trades between Saturday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59 (broker time). Any trade opened or closed in that window is a rule violation, including a trade opened earlier in the week that is closed during the weekend, manually or by a stop loss or take profit.
All crypto trading is prohibited between Saturday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59 (broker time), including buying, selling, pending orders, stop losses and take profits, and closing trades opened before the weekend. This applies to all accounts.
Traders are permitted to hold their trades overnight and over the weekend.
We strongly advise traders to adhere to a single IP address to prevent any potential breaches of our policies concerning multiple IP addresses. Hedging across multiple accounts from the same IP address, or similar discrepancies in trading strategies, is regarded as a violation.
We acknowledge that there may be exceptional circumstances requiring the use of multiple devices and IP addresses, for instance when travelling. We encourage traders to communicate any such circumstances with us in advance, allowing us to make appropriate accommodations while ensuring compliance with our regulations.
If you fail to log into your trading account and execute a trade for 15 consecutive days, your account is designated as inactive and the system classifies it as failed. There is no minimum or maximum trade size required when placing a trade.
In such cases, contact our support team through a ticket on your dashboard to request a new account. If you have placed a trade but do not execute another for 15 consecutive days, your account will still be considered failed.
Requesting a replacement
If your account becomes inactive and you have not placed any trades, we will issue you a new account on request. This request must be made within 6 months of your purchase date; beyond this period we will not be able to provide a new account or offer a refund.
To reset your dashboard password, click the “Forgot Password” link. You will then be guided through the steps to reset and change your password.
If an answer here did not settle it, these are the three places that will — in the order they are usually the right one.
Compare every model and stage, see exactly what you pay and when, and start the challenge that suits how you trade.
FOREXIVE provides demo accounts with fictitious funds for simulated trading only. Rewards depend on performance and the rules of the applicable programme.
